This course is designed for the non-medical workers and lay (public) rescuers, such as daycare services, construction workers, teachers etc. The participants will learn the AHA Chain of Survival and the warning signs of a stroke and a heart attack.

• Heimlich Maneuver for the Child/Adult and Infant Choking Victims

With the successful completion of this course including return skills-demonstrations by the participant, a card of certification will be awarded, valid for 2 years.

This course is designed for those who provide care to patients in all medical settings (physicians, nurses, assistants, office personnel etc). This course meets healthcare workplace requirements for licensed or certified professionals.

The participants will learn the AHA Chain of Survival and discuss the signs of a heart attack and stroke.

With the successful completion of this course including written examination and return skills-demonstration by the participant, a card of certification will be awarded, valid for 2 years.

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who desire to renew their current certification. Depth will be based upon the participant's recollection of previous courses.

The participants will review the AHA Chain of Survival and discuss the signs of a heart attack and stroke.

It is highly recommended to also take a HeartSaver AED (CPR) course, in addition.
